There's a bumper sticker I used to see around a lot; "I can complete any amount of work, provided it's not what I'm supposed to be doing."
I HAVE done some (not enough, but some) work in all the arenas mentioned in the last post. Henceforth, I'll also list the stuff that I actually DO get done.
For today (since I have teh kid), let's grab the stuff from 'tother day...
- 1 hour on the novel, plus
- print 3 land offers.
- Also bookmark 5 auction properties to call on...
- 3 NODs to deliver Fed-Up packets to.
Note here that I've run into a bit of a snag; it turns out that Sheriff Sale properties are listed as "not for sale" on the listing site I've been using -- which is fairly obnoxious, as EVERY bank will consider an offer if it's over the principal amount of the delinquent mortgage. They may or may not ACCEPT any such offer, but they WILL at least go through channels to make that decision, and (more to the point), a LARGE percentage of homeowners in that situation DO have the house listed with a local Realtor. Given the extra level of weirdness (one would have to basically close immediately, and possibly be required to buy cash-only), it makes sense for the database admin to keep those properties out of the standard database, but it still throws a wrench in MY works. So I'll have to rework my search params to succeed at this.
Also I have about 8 vacant lots with potentially interested sellers; Over the next few days I should burn through the old leads, and will need to start sending out initial interest letters again.
-Remember, I always DID say this blog would be far too dull for anyone to actually READ.
